Cincinnatus Response

Cincinnatus was/is such a hero because of his willingness to give up power.  Ever since the end of the Roman Monarchy, Romans have been afraid of giving too much power to one person.  However, Cincinnatus was made dictator, saved Rome from attacking enemis, then gave up his power to return to his farm.  Not everyone would be willing to give up power like that, but Cincinnatus put what was best for Rome before his own personal interests.
